Why I Feel Safe Letting My Wife Loose at Midnight Madness Sales...

In cities around the country, parking lots at malls and major retailers have become breeding grounds for crime. It used to be that I only got concerned during the holidays about the safety of our packages while my wife was on her annual "shopping quest", now I worry about HER safety. Everything from car-jackings to much worse are becoming almost commonplace. Carrying some form of protection is imperative, but what?

I started doing some research on easy forms of protection that would give my wife confidence about her level of safety. I was amazed to find quite a few sources that offered personal safety and protection items that were both effective and affordable. I was especially intrigued by the compact sizes of personal alarms and mace dispensers. These items offer a big bang for your buck. The personal alarms emit loud enough sounds to deter man or beast from threatening her safety and are small enough to offer protection without having her feel she is carrying around a rocket launcher!

She was delighted by the mace dispensers that came in designer colors and patterns. I can just imagine her safety being threatened and her holding up her key ring mace dispenser and shouting to the would be attacker, "Stay back or I"ll spray you with my fake Dooney and Burke key ring!!

The bottom line is this: My wife needs to feel like she can protect herself or our children when she"s out whether she is shopping or at the playground and their safety is paramount to me. I cannot always be around and so anything that can provide protection for my family"s safety is worth looking into.
